The Ella Sharp Museum of Art & History opened in 1965 in the 19th century home of Ella Merriman Sharp. Ella willed her 530 acre property to the city of Jackson in 1912, with the understanding that a park and museum be developed for all to enjoy.

Ella's Granary Restaurant is open for breakfast Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m., lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:30 p.m. and for special parties at all other times.
