The Ella Sharp Museum is proud to present Ansel Adams: Masterworks, June 25 – September 4, 2011. Adams, widely known as one of America’s most recognized photographers, selected this collection himself to represent his best work. This exhibit has never before been seen in Michigan, and there are currently no plans to exhibit it elsewhere in the state. This is a rare opportunity for residents of South Central Michigan to experience the work of this great artist.

Special Events

Ella Sharp is offering a number of special events as part of the Ansel Adams exhibit. All events are open to the public. Information and tickets to special events are available by calling 517-787-2320.

June 23: Opening night celebration
This is a black and white attire event that will kick off the exhibit. 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $85/person.

July 6-8: Exploring Photography for Children
9:30 am – 3:30 pm

July 28: Lecture: “Ansel Adams: An Intimate Glimpse of the Man Behind the Camera”
7:00 p.m.

August 18: 3-D photography workshop
